Access to Justice Award 2025
Award co-sponsors, LexisNexis Ltd and the New Zealand Bar Association | Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o Te Ture, are happy to announce that nominations are open for the 2025 Access to Justice Award. The Award is intended to recognise a New Zealander (or qualifying New Zealand resident) who has made an outstanding contribution to the promotion of access to justice. Previous recipients include Frances Joychild KC, Dr Bridgette Toy-Cronin, John Goddard (special commendation), and Annette Te Imaima Sykes.
The winner of the Award will have demonstrated a strong commitment to improving access to justice for individuals or communities through advocacy, leadership, and the giving of their time and energy. Criteria and Terms of the Award are available here.
Nominations have officially closed. The recipient will be announced at The Bar Conference 2025.
