Below is a list of current ceremonies that require KC attendance. Please click the registration link for those you wish to attend and enter the appropriate details. You do not need to log in to the NZBA system to register.
Attendance - can be in person or remotely. See individual ceremonies for options.
Attire for ceremonies is either:
- full ceremonial attire – which includes a wig, white court shirt, bands, black jacket and gown; or
- a gown over business clothing.
Please note: Wigs should not be worn unless full traditional attire is selected.
Members who are not attired in one of those ways may join the ceremony by sitting behind the bar, in the public gallery. Please email us if you have any questions.
Swearing in Ceremony | Justice Crook | 28 August 2026
Members are invited to attend the swearing in ceremony for Hon Justice Edward Crook as a Judge of the High Court.
This ceremony will be held on Friday 28 August at the Auckland High Court at 4pm. All should be seated by 3:50pm.
Remote facilities will be available, and refreshments will follow the ceremony.
