NZBA Member Logo
The NZBA Member Logo is a clear, professional way to signal your standing within the Bar. Used well, it reinforces credibility, supports consistency across the profession, and strengthens the collective identity of the Association.
We encourage members and associate members to use the logo where it adds value and clarity.
What the logo represents
The NZBA Member Logo identifies you as a current member of The New Zealand Bar Association | Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o Te Ture. Its use reflects the values, strength, and professionalism of the independent Bar.
How you can use it
Members are granted a revokable, non-exclusive licence to use the logo to identify themselves as NZBA members. Appropriate uses include professional materials such as:
- Websites and professional profiles
- Email signatures
- CVs and biographies
- Presentations and conference materials
If you are unsure whether a proposed use is appropriate, please get in contact and we will provide guidance.
Protecting the integrity of the logo
To maintain consistency and trust:
- The logo must not be altered, distorted, recoloured, or modified in any way.
- It must be used in a professional context that aligns with NZBA values.
- It must not be used in a misleading way or in a manner that could harm the reputation of the NZBA.
- The logo must not be used to suggest that you represent, speak for, or act on behalf of the NZBA.
Commercial and new uses
Use of the logo for commercial purposes outside NZBA-related activities, or in new formats not covered above, requires prior approval. Please contact us before proceeding.
Ongoing eligibility
The right to use the NZBA Member Logo applies only while your membership is current. If membership expires or is revoked, use of the logo must cease. The NZBA reserves the right to withdraw permission for logo use at any time, with notice provided in writing.
