I was first admitted as a legal practitioner in 1998, and have worked as a solicitor and a barrister in both New Zealand and Australia. Throughout this period, I have undertaken a wide variety of court matters ranging from criminal jury trials to commercial and civil litigation and administrative law cases. This has also included roles as a senior lawyer in the public sector. Recent matters have included criminal defence, civil litigation, care jurisdiction/child protection, and family law representation.
Note: I do not accept direct briefs as a barrister but am happy to receive material via a New Zealand solicitor and provide brief feedback with details of my availability and costs. Although my chambers is in Christchurch, I will travel to anywhere in New Zealand subject to availability.
