Spend most of your day at a desk? Not drawn to gyms or high-intensity classes, but know you should be moving more?

This session is designed as a simple, low-pressure way to try something different.

Tai Chi focuses on controlled, continuous movement. It supports joint mobility, balance, posture, and core stability without placing strain on the body. For those managing stiffness, reduced flexibility, or the effects of desk-based work, it offers a sustainable way to maintain movement and strength.

Led by: Ponsonby Physiotherapy
Date: Thursday, 25 June
Time: 7.30 – 8.30 am
Location: Pioneer Women's Hall, Ellen Melville Centre, Auckland CBD

No prior experience required.

The session will begin with a short overview of the approach and benefits, before moving into a guided 40-minute practice. The aim isn’t to master anything in one go, but to give you a clear sense of whether it’s something you’d like to pursue in your own time.

This introduction to Tai Chi is aimed at encouraging members to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Important - Participants will be asked to sign a consent form on arrival. View a copy here for reference.

What to Bring – Clothing you are comfortable moving and stretching in, and a water bottle.

This is a Members Only event.
