Blue Book

Contained within the pages of the Blue Book, you will find the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act (Lawyers: Conduct and Client Care) Rules 2008 and the statutory definitions of “misconduct” and “unsatisfactory conduct”. These outline our professional responsibilities and ethical obligations.

Understanding and adhering to these rules is paramount to maintaining the integrity and trust essential to practice at the independent Bar.

The Blue Book also includes a concise guide to the complaints and discipline regime. This introductory material will provide you with sufficient knowledge to engage with these processes effectively should the need to do so ever arise.
