I practise as an employed barrister with Roddie Sim, specialising in criminal defence and family law (including Care of Children Act 2004 and Family Violence Act 2018 proceedings). My work includes regular court appearances and representing legally aided clients across both jurisdictions, with a strong focus on effective advocacy and practical dispute resolution. I am based in Pukekohe, and regularly act for clients in matters in the Pukekohe, Papakura and Manukau District Court.
While my current practice is centered on criminal and family matters, I continue to maintain and develop my expertise in employment law. I regularly write employment law commentaries and present seminars on emerging workplace issues, and I will accept instructions in this area in due course.
I am passionate about protecting and upholding people’s rights, ensuring access to justice, and delivering clear, strategic advocacy for clients navigating complex and often high-stakes disputes and situations.
