| Clive Elliott KCClive is a barrister and arbitrator. Clive is a past president of the New Zealand Bar Association. He is a past council member of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Law Society and the Legal Practice Division of the International Bar Association (IBA). He is also a past co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Committee of the IBA and a past president of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ). He is a co-author of the Lexis Nexis loose-leaf texts Copyright and Design and Patents and Trade Marks. He has frequently presented on a range of advocacy-related issues. | |
Justice Paul RadichJustice Paul Radich graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 1986 with an LLB (Hons). He began work at Brandons and was a partner at Bell Gully, Izard Weston and Minter Ellison Rudd Watts before joining the independent bar, with Clifton Chambers, in 2012. He was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 2014. Justice Radich practised in commercial and public law litigation. He has appeared on a number of cases dealing with issues under the Treaty. He has represented parties before the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Pike River Mine Tragedy, the Government inquiry into Operation Burnham (Afghanistan), and the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Attack on the Christchurch Mosques. He was President of the New Zealand Bar Association - Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o te Ture from 2020 to 2022 and has held positions as Chair of the Legal Aid Performance Review Committee and as a board member of Te Kura Kaiwhakawā - the Institute of Judicial Studies. Justice Radich was appointed to the High Court in April 2023. | ||
Nikki PenderNikki is a barrister at Kate Sheppard Chambers. She has 30 years’ experience representing private sector clients and regulatory agencies in civil, competition, disciplinary, public law and coronial matters. She also contributes to policy development and law reform, particularly in the justice sector. Nikki has taught advocacy/litigation skills training since 2007. |
