Keeping up appearances (CPD 1.0 hr)

2022 was going to be the year in which we all got together for a drink and a catch up in person in each centre on a regular basis. We haven't given up hope on that but Omicron is running interference at the moment. So, let's do it virtually until everything is back up on its feet. Let's pour a drink, pop on the camera, and enjoy each other's company.
What, you may ask, will we talk about? Well, the most dominant thing in our lives at the moment seems to be meeting clients and going to court through VMR/Zoom/Teams. There are so many stories we can all share about moments we wished had never happened. And then there are those profound questions that we all face:
- Do we really need to change out of our PJ pants or brush our hair?
- What should we wear/what can we get away with wearing during a Zoom meeting?
- Are spots or stripes acceptable?
- What happens to a pale pink tie on a white shirt?
- Will the "touch up" feature make me look 20 years younger?
- How do you avoid clashing with your background?
- What do we think about virtual backgrounds? Should everyone just see what's really behind us, laundry baskets and all?
