Addressing parties' counsel and witnesses of Asian descent correctly
The NZBA has received a letter from Chief High Court Judge, Justice Venning regarding the appropriate and correct way of addressing counsel and witnesses of Asian descent, and has asked the NZBA to advise members of a new court directive in this regard.
