The Chief Judge and Higher Courts Judges invite members of the NZBA to attend a ceremonial sitting to welcome Associate Judge Kenneth Johnston to the High Court Bench. He will be based in Wellington and the swearing-in ceremony will occur in Wellington at 3.00pm on Monday 12 February 2018. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments.
Please arrive at 2.45pm in order to be seated.
Please note that access will be via the Whitmore Street entrance because of construction work being undertaken in the building which may prevent the main entrance in Stout Street being open.
Dress for this ceremony is full ceremonial - gowns (and wigs if available).
