The Chief Justice and Higher Courts Judges invite NZBA members to attend a ceremonial sitting to welcome the Hon Justice van Bohemen to the High Court Bench.
Justice van Bohemen will be based in Auckland but the swearing-in ceremony will be in Wellington at the No. 1 ceremonial High Court, Stout Street on Thursday 10 August at 4.00pm.
Please arrive by 3.45pm to allow time for seating.
Dress is full ceremonial (wigs and gowns).
The ceremony will be followed by refreshments.
QCs are requested to RSVP to the NZBA (follow link below) in order to be seated in call order.
