Shortland Chambers - Function for New Barristers
The New Zealand Bar Association | Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o te Ture and Shortland Chambers are hosting drinks and canapes at Chambers for newer barristers who have recently gone to the bar and are practising on their own account, rather than as employed barristers or chambers’ juniors. There will be a panel discussion led by Jane Anderson QC, Kevin Glover and Nura Taefi. Jane and Kevin have generously agreed to share their experiences of starting out at the bar.
This event is specifically for barristers who are not technically junior (5-15 years PQE) but who have recently come to the bar. If you fit generally into this category please come along.
Honor Ford, Nura Taefi and Alec Steel have organized this event in order to establish a network for barristers in this experience bracket and expand support for those starting out.
If you are interested in attending this event or would like further information, please contact Shortland Chambers Manager, Pamela Caldwell.
Please RSVP to Pamela, by clicking the link below before 26 May 2017.
