Improving Access to Justice - Rules Committee Consultation - 1 hour CPD
The Rules Committee has released a further consultation paper on improving access to civil justice. If implemented, the proposals contained in this consultation paper will result in significant changes to procedure in the District and Senior Courts.
In this free webinar, Hon. Justice Cooke, Kate Davenport QC (the NZBA's representative on the Rules Committee), and Daniel Kalderimis (who sits on the Rules Committee and is the convenor of the Law Society’s Civil Litigation & Tribunals Committee) will outline the key proposals and what the Committee is seeking to achieve. This session will include an opportunity for those at the Bar to submit questions and comments to the Judge.
